More details to come. 4/24/2010 Bowers Museum outing A special group tour has been arranged by the Joy Seekers for all to see the exhibit "Secrets of the Silk Road" which includes three mummies that date back to the time of Abraham in the early 18th century B.C. Save the date of Sat. April 24, for the 11 AM tour at the Bowers Museum in Santa Ana, followed by lunch in the Tangata Restaurant (optional). See Lucia Dean for further information. 8/18/2010 - 8/22/2010 Ignite Your Faith Teen Camp Be sure to mark your calendars for the third annual Ignite Teen Camp, to be held August 18th22nd. Joe Wells has confirmed that he will be our keynote speaker again this year to conclude his Confronting Culture seminar. The lessons this year will be: Lesson One: Background of The Teenager (dealing with the history in America where there was no such thing as the word "teenager" and how it came about - what changes did we see in our nation) Lesson Two: Raise the Bar in the Family (what does God truly expect from teens in the family unit vs. what society expects) Lesson Three: Raise the Bar in the Community (what does God expect from teens in the community vs. what does society expect) Lesson Four: Raise the Bar in the Church (what does God expect from teens in the Church vs. what does society expect)
