Wednesday Night Family Meals
Served each Wednesday night from 6:00-6:30 PM in the fellowship hall. Delicious dinners are prepared by a team of dedicated and talented cooks from within our own family.
Clothing Ministry
Offered for anyone in need of assistance, this ministry provides lightly used clothing for men, women and children of all ages, as well as toys and other items. Specific item requests may also be submitted. Donations of all sizes are appreciated.
Free ESL Class

This outreach program meets every Monday night from 6-7 PM at the building. English lessons are taught by a professional ESL instructor, and are open to all ages.
Ladies' Bible Class

Every Thursday morning at 10
AM, ladies of all ages gather for prayer and in-depth Bible
study. It is a wonderful opportunity for fellowship and
spiritual growth.
Transportation Services
For those who need help getting
around town or to worship services, volunteers are
available to provide transportation. Please contact
the church office.

Joy Seekers
A social group organized to enhance
fellowship among the adult Christians of Newland
Street church (ages 40 years and older), by meeting
together for special activities such as bi-monthly
singings in various members’ homes, dinners, theater
events or other interesting and up-lifting planned
outings. This group also sponsors all-church events
which is of value to all age groups.
Christian Women Without Partners (C.W.W.P)
A support and social group to
encourage friendship among Christian women at Newland
Street church who consider themselves “single” due
to not being married, being a widow, divorced,
or having to attend worship services or other church-
sponsored
activities without one’s spouse.

Friend Speak is an outreach
ministry to people in our community who are
learning English as a second language. Each
language learner is paired with a Christian
worker for a one hour session once a week.
During the session a workbook based on the
gospel of Luke is read, and the teacher engages
the learner in simple English conversation.
World Bible School

WBS is a teaching ministry through
a series of correspondence lessons designed to introduce
the bible and lead the student through the basic
steps to becoming a Christian. The lesson series
consists of an Introductory Lesson and Six Study
Booklets.
Communion to Shut-Ins
This ministry seeks to provide
communion to those who are ill and other shut-ins
who are not able to attend worship services on Sunday
by taking the Lord’s Supper to them in their home.
Card Ministry
The purpose of our Card Ministry
is to send cards of encouragement to our ‘shut-ins’ and
those who have a variety of on-going problems. ‘Get
Well’ cards are also sent to members with serious
but short term medical problems.
Ladies Committee
Some of the great tasks that this
committee does are communion preparation, laundering
of baptismal clothing, monthly socials and meal preparation
for various needs. No prior experience is necessary,
just an eagerness to serve. The task becomes much
smaller when we have plenty of workers.
